Our Teaching Model

We teach the Constitution as a way of engaging with difficult public questions – about equality, power, citizenship, and belonging. Not to arrive at the “right” answer, but to build critical thinking and reasoning skills to understand how we got here.

Our goal is to help students get a first-hand view of the nuances of nation building and devise creative, inclusive solutions. With a pedagogy geared toward building skills and values, we consciously build learning environments that encourage students to think from different perspectives and understand the varied experiences of what it means to be a “Indian”.

Each course includes bespoke simulations that encourage participants to apply concepts learnt and draft modern day Constitutions. Participants are asked to step into positions, defend them, disagree, and build consensus.

Our course offerings are highly specialized in structure, content and delivery to meet each cohort’s unique interests and needs, and are built in close collaboration with our partners. Here is a quick snapshot of what we can do for you or your organization.

We are always looking to work with schools, universities, and organizations with an audience interested in learning more about constitutional values
and nation building. This can look very different -it can be an intensive summer workshop at a high school or a lecture at a pub!
